Introduction to Productivity Places Program

Under the new Skilling Australia for the Future Initiative, the government has funded training places over a 4 year period to ensure that all Australian workers develop skills they need.

As of July 1 2009, the state and territory governments have progressively assumed delivery of mainstream job seeker and existing worker PPP training places. This means that the PPP has now been distributed to each state in Australia to manage.

The J2S Group of Registered Training Organisations has been applying for PPP funding in the following states:

• NSW
• WA
• VIC
• QLD
• SA
• NT

We have been successful in securing places in QLD and WA, but are now waiting for allocation from NSW, VIC, SA and NT.
